Boys & Girls Clubs of Rutherford County operates a Club in Murfreesboro, Smyrna and Shelbyville, Tennessee. Our reach is wide, but our touch is personal.
SUMMER PROGRAM INFORMATION
- Dates & Hours of Operation
- May 31st – July 28th
- 7:00am-6:00pm, Monday – Friday
- Ages to Participate
- Rising 1st graders – rising 12th graders
- Breakfast, Lunch and afternoon snack provided (times TBD)
- Program Fees
- $40 registration fee per child
- $85 weekly fee (no part-time or drop-in rates)
- The is no weekly fee for teens (13-18)
- Multi-sibling and military discounts offered
- Sliding scale based on income and family size (must apply for financial assistance)
- Weekly fees are paid every Friday for the following week
- Must be paid weekly to hold a spot
- 1 full week vacation may be taken without requirement of payment
- Field trips are an additional cost and on a first come/first serve basis
Parent/guardian and member(s) must attend a parent orientation in order to participate. Your Club will contact you directly with orientation dates/times.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Due to capacity, your child may be placed on a waiting list or receive a delayed start date for participation. You will receive an email within 48 hours of registration to notify you of your child’s membership status.
Program Information:
- Dates and Hours of Operation
- August 8th – May 19th
- We follow Rutherford County Schools calendar
- Upon dismissal-6:30pm, Monday-Friday
- Early release days, upon dismissal-6:30pm
- Non-school days, 7am-6pm
- Ages and Grades Served
- Kindergarten – 12th grade (Pre-K and Kindergarten Readiness are not eligible)
- PM snack and dinner provided (dinner is not provided on non-school days)
- Program Fees
- $40 registration fee due at time of registration
- $40/week
- Weekly fees are for 5-12 years old only – Teens do not pay weekly fees
- Multi-sibling discounts apply
- Weekly fees are to be paid 1 week in advance
- Must be paid each week regardless of attendance in order to hold a spot in our program
- Two one-week vacations may be taken during the school year without requirement of payment
- $5 additional fee required per child for non-school days (must be paid in advance or morning of
- $25 drop in daily rate for all non-school days and breaks if not attending for the full week/break
- $85 per school break (Fall, Winter, Spring)
- Multi-sibling discounts apply
- Fees are not required if your child does not attend during school breaks
Our Clubs will provide transportation from specific schools. Please note that a minimum requirement of registrations may be necessary in order for us to be able to provide transportation. We will contact parents directly by July 29th if transportation is not going to be provided from your child’s school due minimal registrations. If your child’s school is not listed, they may still register but their own transportation must be provided to the Club.
